Clearance Officer | Al-Refai Int’l Transport & Clearing Co.
Al-Refai Int’l Transport & Clearing Co. is looking for a Clearance Officer to join our professional team in Amman, Jordan.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, ports, airports, and border offices.
- Communicate with clients regarding required documents and clearance status.
- Coordinate with internal transport and operations teams to ensure timely cargo release.
- Maintain accurate records and update clearance information in company systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance.
- Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import/export regulations.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Previous experience in a customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or transport company is preferred.
